Given a nut-and-bolt restoration by RK Motors, this matching-numbers V-code 1970 GTX is truly sublime. The paint and bodywork are concours-grade, so good that you can see the quality in the photos. Those massive quarter panels are straight, straight, straight, and the body gaps are better than new. Look again at how well the deck lid fits and then go try to find another '70 GTX that looks that good—you just won't. Correct satin black stripes were added to the Air Grabber hood to duplicate the Performance Hood Treatment, and along the sides of the car terminating in the scoops in the rear quarters. Remove the hood pins on the Air Grabber hood, and underneath you'll find the original V-code High Performance 440 Six-Pack Super Commando engine. The engine was rebuilt to stock specs during the restoration, and even though the car was getting a mild update, that didn't mean that the engine bay needed anything. Everything is factory-correct, from the Hemi Orange paint on the block, to the hoses and clamps, to the red cap reproduction battery. Up top, the Six Pack carburetion system was rebuilt and tucked away under that massive air cleaner. The only non-stock addition to the horsepower department is a set of beautifully made and finished long-tube headers which give this big block Mopar a little more high-end horsepower.
